The rightly famous wine culture of Szekszárd praises the wisdom and competence of the people taking the opportunities provided by nature. Starting from the Béla Square, we can see more and more beauty along the walking tour, like the Catholic Church, Holy Trinity Statue, yard of the County Hall, Wine Well, and statue of King Béla I. Szekszárd has also several museums. The Wine region of Szekszárd covers an area of 1925 ha and is one of the most ancient wine producing areas of Hungary. The Szekszárd Harvest Days are organized on the 2nd weekend of September, where selected events , exhibitions, concerts and wine tasting provide entertainment to the visitors.
